Nature inspires us as it is balanced, functional, and timeless. We study Nature's PATTERNS, PALETTES, TEXTURES, and PRINCIPLES. PATTERNS are found in seasonal and diurnal changes. PALETTES and TEXTURES are drawn from the peculiarities of different climatic regions, their landscapes, vegetation, rock formations, sandy dunes, and waterways. We bring these elements together to create spaces that feel calmer, warmer, and humanized. PRINCIPLES are reflected in the understanding that when spaces reflect how Nature works--layered, adaptable, and intentional--they don't just feel beautiful: they feel right to inhabit.

We at VELAR DDC listen to the unique stories our creative clients share with us. These stories are then transformed via a clear design pathway enriched with curiosity and purpose. We develop these stories into creative environments, which aim to strengthen people's connections to each other and their surroundings.
We care deeply about the project's design vision from project inception through project completion. To achieve our client's goals, we cultivate relationships with local designers, architects, craftsmen, vendors, and contractors who bring in their expertise in sustainable alternatives to traditional materials and processes.
