NATURE is our main inspiration as it is balanced, functional, and timeless. We look at Nature's PATTERNS, PALETTES+TEXTURES AND PRINCIPLES. Patterns are found in season changes. Color palettes are drawn from landscapes, and textures are inspired by the tundra's trees, the sea's rocks, desert sands, forest greens, moss from Maine's islands, ferns, and palm fronds from the Tropics. We bring these elements together to create spaces that feel calmer, warmer, and humanized. When interiors reflect how nature works--layered, adaptable, and intentional--they don't just look beautiful: they feel right to inhabit.

VELAR DDC is a Design, Design Development, and Design Project Management practice servicing the greater New England area.
We listen to our creative clients' stories. These stories inform a clear design pathway enriched with inspiration and purpose. We develop these stories into creative environments, which aim to strengthen people's connections to each other and their surroundings.
We at VELAR DDC care deeply about the project's design vision from project inception through project completion. To achieve our client's goals, we cultivate relationships with local designers, architects, craftsmen, vendors, and contractors who bring in their expertise in sustainable alternatives to traditional materials and processes.
